Do not sleep on these tacos. They are the most delicious tacos I’ve had in Toronto and are even tastier than most I’ve had in the states. These are authentic Mexican style tacos. If you know what that means you will love this place, no need to read further. But for the uninitiated that means (usually) there are no more than 3 toppings, they must have world class tortillas and flavourful grilled meats including off cuts such as tongue and tripe. It’s this simplicity and clarity that creates a superb taco experience you wont find in “Tex-Mex” taco places. Most taco places in Toronto targeting the non-Mexican customer make “Tex-Mex” style tacos. Lastly, the piece de resistance is that you can top each taco off with house made, sublime Salsas that pack enough heat to give your pickle a tickle. I hate to give this recommendation because it’s never busy which means no waits for me. But the people working there deserve for it to be packed and my fellow Torontonians deserve authentic, quality tacos. Enjoy!

Went for dinner on a Friday and the food was EXCELLENT. We got an order of alambre, tamiquena and a side of guac. Portion sizes are huge and the service was excellent. Salsas are delicious. Highly recommend!

I came here on someone’s recommendation who is from Mexico. I really wanted to like this place because I just moved into the area. Unfortunately, it was a let down. I think the picture speaks for itself. This was $25+tax. There was also an eyelash in the food.

This is a truly hidden gem of a restaurant. Like a diamond in the rough. I wish I discovered this spot way earlier, close by, amazing authentic food, and just friendly staff. I have ordered a lot of the items here, there are certainly some items I am not used to, but everything was delicious. And the tres leches cake is amazing, super moist, not overly sweet, and rich. Tacos are good portions, delicious selections of well marinated, moist meat and a perfect amount of fattiness depending on the proteins you get. I had mole for the first time and it is delicious, the sauces are yummy and a great hit of spice. Ceviche is fresh, very citrusy. I can't say enough good things about this place and am going to miss it when I move away.

Great location as there isn't many mexican restaurants in that area. Plenty of seating. Very clean and well kept restaurant with small washrooms available. Not recommended as an accesible place as it may be right in a wheelchair. Service was kind and organized. The menu has a mix of typical mexican food and some north american items that are kid and family friendly (ex. burger, English breakfast). You get a free starter or nachos with their housemade sauces. They were spicy at the after taste. I got the horchata to drink which was delicious. It was more or a shareable since it was only available in 1 litre. I got the huevos rancheros which were ok. The salsa verde was a bit plain but the eggs and tortillas were delicious. And last but not least, I got the tres leches for dessert. It was so well made and well worth the high price of $8/piece. I found the price a bit high for one person dining but it had to do with 2 items I ordered: horchata and tres leches. I would certainly go again to try other menu items.

Simply delicious and authentic Mexican food!! The service is pretty friendly and the prices are fair for the portions provided. Absolutely love the fresh flavors and the coffee is just fantastic. I definitely will be coming back to try more of their menu.

We've been there a few times with my husband. If you're around the area, we recommend getting their tacos with a side of birria. It's a must!! So delicious and flavourful. We also had their horchata, a bit sweet for my taste but perfect for my husband. And their mini empanadas were so tasty, wish they had a larger size available for take-out.

We came here for dinner and shared some dishes. We had the special nachos with beef and the green chicken enchiladas. Everything was really great. The chips are made in-house and all of the other ingredients we had were fresh and tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. We will look forward to coming back!
