Alobar Downtown is a fantastic spot with a great atmosphere and excellent service. The steak was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor—definitely a highlight. The cheesecake dessert was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience!

We found this amazing bar. The drinks are so good. I've never had cocktails this good. Their happy hours are a steal. The food is so good but the quantity is small but it's okay for the price. And I loved the service. The staff is so polite and professional

Went there for a birthday celebration. The experience is underwhelming. We felt being rushed by our waitress. She didn’t provide any recommendations or explaining any of the foods in the menu, until asked. The server didn’t spend any time, having conversation with us nor explaining the foods served on the table. No one offered us anything, when serving the food. The service is really subpar, for top 100 restaurants, and a sister restaurant for a Michelin starred restaurant. Disappointing.

Alobar is a gem in Toronto if you’re after great food with a chill but classy vibe. It’s got that cool, upscale feel without being stuffy. Perfect spot for a night out, whether it's with friends, a date, or just because you want something really tasty. The food? Awesome. You can tell they put a lot of thought into each dish, and it shows with every bite. They’ve also got a solid selection of wine and cocktails, and the staff really knows their stuff. Service is friendly and professional but never in-your-face, so you can just relax and enjoy the night. All in all, Alobar’s the place to go if you want a top-notch meal and a great atmosphere without any fuss. Definitely worth checking out!

I get why people like this place: the food is fancy, the service is superb, the space is expansive. So it might just be personal tastes that leave me underwhelmed with the food. Been a couple of times and tried a few things on the menu (most recently the famed burger), and I'm left wanting for more. In a vacuum, it's objectively pretty good. It's just that I've gotten tastier dishes elsewhere for what you pay or even cheaper. Not for me. But it always seems full, so maybe don't take my word for it.

Had an excellent meal here tonight. The food was just excellent (i had the scallop to start and Duck Parpadelle as a main) and a good wine list. The service was brilliant - the guy with glasses who looked after me was very friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to returning!

Everything was great! The food was absolutely amazing! Compliments to Chef Akhil and the entire team for providing such an outstanding dining experience. Every detail was perfect, from the service to the ambiance. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable meal!

Service was so slow,15 minutes to get to our table, an half hour to get drinks to our table, second time 20 minutes. Most of food was so salty couldn’t eat it. I nearly send the 2 side vegetables. And the duck pasta back. Desserts were nice. Overall service was slow, server had no Personality to her. No excuse for slow service as it dead in there. On another note, a good chef never over salts his food.
