Alexandros Take Out

BEWARE! Extremely disappointing since I have been a long time costumer. I’m not sure if the owner has changed, but what I had tonight was the WORST “meal” i’ve ever had in my life (if you can even call it a meal). Rice was days OLD, “salad” was OLD and it was just a couple pieces of lettuce and cucumber. Chicken was undercooked and bland. I’m not sure what type of sauce they gave us but it was NOT tzatziki. The only thing our “meal” consisted of was LOTS AND LOTS OF OIL. The entire container was dripping in OIL. It left a stain on my table. For the first time in my life I had to throw food away. My sister got the same meal and hers was just as terrible. And now we are both sick. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR WELLBEING DO NOT EAT FROM HERE. How they serve this to costumers is beyond me. I don’t mind paying $50 for a good meal, however this was just an embarrassment.

I moved to hamilton almost a year ago. I have been here almost once a month since I found it, a short time after I moved here. Every time it has been delicious. But tonight I ordered a gyro in a box, because I can't have the pita anymore due to a gluten allergy. I got the delicious meat off of the spit, this is what i've always got, until now. Mixed with some cheap gyro meat that was fried on the grill. It almost has no flavor at all. I will not be going back.I will be finding a new place. I was so disappointed

Tried the chicken Gyro. Excellent. Usually restaurants skimp on protein, but the portion was very good. The quality of the meat and flavour profile was phenomenal. First time here and I’ll be back again.

Best gyros I have had in a very long time and may even be at the very top of my list. Thick cut, juicy, and very flavorful. Also ordered a side of large roasted potatoes, and they were good but could use some more salt and pepper for my taste. Gyros are an absolute must try!

I decided to try this place using the too good to go app. It was quoted as being a 21.00 value down to 6.99 so I purchased two. I was asked if I wanted potatoes or fries so I asked for one of each. One container had half French fries half plain rice and a bit of chicken on top, the second container was only plain rice with a bit of chicken on top (no potatoes) If you check their menu prices, I didn't save any money. These two containers were not worth the price let alone the quoted 42 dollars. Very disappointing. I rated 3 stars on app before I realized it was supposed to be a total 42 value. Don't order from here on TGTG.

I saw the “world best gyro” sign at the front door and was intrigued enough to order one for myself. I was not disappointed a simple gyro wrap really was very good, I had good conversation with the lady in the front and she added extra feta for me great service and overall a enjoyable meal to grab definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

I really really don’t like leaving a bad review but I feel it is necessary. I went to pick up today as I was craving Greek food…. I am not a picky eater at all and for me to not be able to finish something is an issue ! I paid 28 dollars for a chicken meal and I want my money back! I work hard for my money and now it’s wasted!! This is not even Greek food. It is plain over cooked white rice not seasoned at all…. Basically a rotisserie chicken cut up and potatoes. To top it all off the “ Taziki sauce” is spoiled!!! I would like my money back. How do I go about that ?

I used Alexandros to cater lunch for a bridal shower this weekend and it was such a great choice! Will go through my experience below but for context we were feeding around 70 people for lunch and ordered for around 35 people and had some to spare. Food - The food was delicious and there was plenty for everyone! The food was nicely packaged and arrived most importantly arrived hot. The salad had a ton of toppings, and both the chicken and gyro were super flavourful. My personal favourite was the gyro and Tzatziki. I lost count of how many times I was asked where the food was catered from during the event - everyone loved it! Service - I called at least 10 different restaurants in the area getting quotes for catering. Not to say other restaurants weren't nice, but the lady I spoke with at Alexandros was by far the easiest to work with - I believe her name was Awas. She helped me sort out exactly what I needed, was accommodating for all my requests and had great constant communication throughout the process up until the delivery. Overall, I had a great experience with this restaurant! Would highly recommend them for catering but also food is great if you are just looking to a good great takeout meal.
