Aleppo Kebab( Ajax)

We visited Aleppo in Pickering today, and as always, it was bustling—clear proof of how popular this spot is! The customer service was exceptional, and the food quality was outstanding. The kebabs and chicken skewers were incredibly tender and full of flavor—I couldn’t get enough! The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very affordable. A special shoutout to Mohammed Salah for his excellent and professional service. If you’re looking for delicious Mediterranean cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Great food and excellent taste. Order for take out and was very delicious. Would recommend highly to go and have a dine in experience as well. My kids and family loved the food.

Went to Aleppo kebab for first time Ajax location. We sat down and waited and looked around until the server brought the menu. -Customer service not so friendly. Normally when you look at server or try to get their attention they look right away and come to you, servers were unprofessional. -We ordered mix kebab plate and the Adana kebab plate with an extra beef skewer on the side. The food took a while to come. But I’m guessing it’s worth the wait!?! Right?!? Nope. -my wife got her food first and then I had to wait another 7 to 8 minutes to get my food. We noticed other people dining there was the same situation. One plate served and other person just waiting. If it was 1-2 minute ok cool. But it wasn’t. And it’s awkward to sit there while other person has their food and you don’t. -finally when we BOTH got our food. my wife's kebab was overcooked and burnt. The bbq tomato was COLD. The thin pita bread with tomato sauce and onion was COLD. My beef skewer half of it was burnt, my tomato was cold as well. For the kabobs one side looked good and then you flip it and other side is burnt. For my first time to experience this I would definitely not recommend, not sure if just an off night but even for the price is definitely not worth it, considering portion for value. Cold,burnt food with terrible customer service and definitely rookies on the grill. Good luck to this place. See the pictures for more clarification.

Excellent Aleppo Kebab in the Durham region. Delicious and true to the authentic taste. Service is excellent and the staff are friendly and will give you excellent suggestions. Parking is ♿ accessible and the facilities are also ♿ accessible and clean. Recommend the establishment and recommend the Adana kebab

We had an absolutely delightful experience at Aleppo Restaurant! Traveling all the way from Milton to Ajax, our expectations were high, and I’m happy to say the restaurant exceeded them in every way. The food was nothing short of spectacular—authentic flavors, perfectly prepared, and truly satisfying. Every dish we tried was a testament to the passion and skill in the kitchen. A special mention goes to Bakr, who served us with outstanding professionalism and warmth. His exceptional service made our visit even more memorable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. Aleppo Restaurant is a gem worth the drive, and we’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and unforgettable dining experience!

We visited this restaurant for dinner this evening and so far it is the best middle eastern food I’ve had in Durham. It reminded me of Dubai. The food is flavourful and the meat was juicy. Also loved the peppers which were included in our plates. Bonus- My toddler enjoyed the toshka, garlic sauce, beef kebabs and rice.

This is our all-time favorite restaurant ( from way back when they opened in Scarborough) !! I can't say enough. This new location is a wonderful upgrade.. beautiful atmosphere !! and much appreciated addition to Ajax/pickering! Thank you for coming to Durham so now we don't have to drive to Scarborough to pick up our favorite take out!!! We've ordered through the apps as well as dined in. The restaurant is gorgeous, and wait staff is welcoming and friendly! Food flavor is off the charts! Definitely better to dine in and eat it fresh off the grill but still our go to for take out !! Their mixed shawarma is what I had today, and it blew me away! We will definitely be dining in again and again and bring our family and friends here.

Aleppo Kebab offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with its beautiful wood-accented design and exceptionally kind staff. The authentic Syrian cuisine is flavorful and delicious, making for a delightful dining experience. However, the restaurant was quite smoky inside, and it took a long time to receive our order. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I would still recommend Aleppo Kebab for those seeking authentic Syrian food in a cozy setting.
