Bashawat Iraqi Grill is a hidden gem in Meadowvale Park! The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic Iraqi flavors that are hard to find elsewhere in the area. We tried the kebab platter, it was huge and everything was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor.The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The outdoor seating with a view of the park adds a unique touch, making it a great spot for a summer meal. Highly recommend Al Bashawat for anyone looking to enjoy some delicious Middle Eastern cuisine in Mississauga! PS: While placing the order on the counter, the lady is an Arab lady, she is very sweet and hard working! Only Coke and Pepsi, some Orange soda (Fanta) are available as cold drinks, there were limited choices of beverages which was compensated by the delciously pickled veggies. The overall experience was fantastic.

Owner is messed up he started arguing with me and when i asked for the refund he started cursing at me in his language and told me to get out i strictly told him to put no veggies and he put all vegies and when i told him just refund me he doesn't want to refund and asked me to call police he doesn't understand english and can’t be running this store he has all foods prepared without food health and safety requirements please someone get an inspection done on this restaurant regarding food safety because he doesn't have any idea about the rules and regulations for it.

Yesterday, June 21st., I ordered beef kebab platter for myself and chicken kebab platter for my daughter. Both were take out. The food was very good indeed. The kebabs were juicy and delicious. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy Iraqi food.

Al Bashawat is a true gem! The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The food is outstanding—each dish is bursting with authentic Iraqi flavors. The kebabs were juicy, the food was perfectly spiced, and the hummus was exceptionally creamy. Generous portions and fresh ingredients make this place a must-visit. Highly recommended!

I saw a few reviews saying the quantity has decreased but I think with inflation all places have done either that or increased their prices. These guys didn’t increase their prices so it’s fair and you still get a lot. Pictured here is the mixed grill platter comes with 4 meat skewers and rice or fries, plus lentil soup. I also got the manaeesh (cheese and zataar). All their food is so flavourful and amazing. Love it

Great fries! The crisp and the seasoning were great! Beef was great and good service! Prices were decent and internal decor was pretty nice.

Great service and goo fresh food. BBQ was fresh and flavorful. They served complimentary lentil soup and fresh bread. We ordered the mixed grill and it was great. We weren't fans of the ground chicken kabab but the rest were excellent.
