The chicken was dry and flavorless on the inside... Only the batter is flavoured...

I recently revisited Alachi Chicken for Christmas Eve and decided to try their T1 Triple-Set. It includes three flavours of fried chicken—Basasac, Soy Sauce, and Sweet & Spicy—which sounded perfect for sharing. The flavours themselves didn’t disappoint, but the portion size left something to be desired. Basasac had a great crunch, though a few pieces had more batter than meat. The Soy Sauce flavour hit a nice balance between sweet and savoury, while Sweet & Spicy was the clear winner with its saucy coating and gentle heat. Each flavour was tasty in its own way, but the smaller portions for the price felt like a letdown. The attention to detail in packaging and presentation was appreciated, and the chicken’s flavours are definitely unique. Still, I’d probably stick to their regular menu items next time to avoid feeling shortchanged. ––– Previous review in Nov 2024 When the king of Korean fried chicken partners with the legendary Faker, you know the meal will be anything but ordinary. Alachi Chicken, affectionately dubbed “Faker Chicken” by fans, has teamed up with the iconic T1 player as their global ambassador. Receiving a limited-edition Faker photo card with my order was the perfect bonus, adding a touch of excitement to an already stellar meal. Located conveniently in Galleria Supermarket, Alachi Chicken’s current promotion includes a collectible Faker card with each order, along with pickled radish and two cans of Coke—ideal for a champion-sized takeout meal. C1 Basasac Original (Large) : The large serving of fried chicken didn’t disappoint, with so many pieces packed into the box that it barely closed! The chicken itself was tender, with a thick, golden batter that was light yet satisfyingly crunchy. Mildly seasoned, each piece was enjoyable on its own or with a sprinkle of salt and pepper for extra zing. A quick pop in the air fryer gave it that just-cooked crispiness that everyone at the table loved. With its quality food and a promotion that brings Faker fans closer to their idol, Alachi Chicken is definitely worth the visit. Plus, with the Galleria points program offering a free order after ten visits, I’ll be back soon, ready to enjoy more champion-worthy bites.

The worst fried chicken I ever had. Gives Korean fried chicken a bad name!

Stopped into Galleria for a shoot and couldn’t resist trying Alachi Fried Chicken while I was there! This spot is located in the cafeteria area of Galleria, so you’ll need to head into the supermarket to enjoy it. I’d recommend arriving early, as seating can fill up quickly. It’s not a full-fledged restaurant, so don’t expect anything fancy in terms of interior design. However, that doesn’t take away from how amazing the food is. We tried three flavors of chicken—Yangnyeom style, Original, and Soy Garlic—all classic choices for Korean Fried Chicken. Each piece was made fresh and served hot to the bone, making for a mouthwatering experience with rich flavors all around. Overall, it’s a great stop after a day of shopping at Galleria. Recommended!
