Very cozy and humble little place here. Got the Beef Innards Miso Don and was similar to the meal in Tsukiji market in Japan. Seems like the only place in Toronto to serve something like this. It was delicious and I thought the portion size was perfect. If you don’t like innards there are other options that would be better for you. The egg is a must to add.

If you’re looking for a Toronto version of Tokyo Tsukiji Market’s Kitsuneya… this is the spot. The beef innards miso don was very reminiscent of the one found in Japan. Must order with a soft boiled egg!! There is not much space to dine in, so plan ahead if you’re heading in with a big group.

Ordered the spicy innards miso don. So good. Flavour is very distinct. It’s not that spicy either - I would describe it as just a hint spicy. But it does cover up the unpleasant beef innards smell. They give you lots of sauce so the rice is completely soaked in the deliciousness. The innards itself is a bit salty but pairing with rice is perfect. The portion is reasonable for the price.

This is a must try!! I got the beef rib miso don with egg. The meat was nice and tender and the rice had the perfect texture. Definitely recommend getting the egg as it just makes the food even better. I am excited to come back!!!

Got a recommendation from a friend and I’ve never seen beef innards on a Japanese restaurant’s menu! Pretty good if you love internal organs but like the other review says may need some veggies in the bowl to balance it out otherwise you’re just eating a big bow of rice and meat. Still good though and owner / chef gave a bottle of water if you dine in along with miso soup.

I got the Spicy Miso Beef Don with a boiled egg. Very tasty. Spice was separate so you can adjust it yourself. Friendly and fast service.

Open now! Quite literally a hole in the wall, this place has a very simple menu of beef and rice dishes. I tried the spicy beef rib miso don. The food was quite tasty, and the portion size was really generous. The owner was also nice enough to give me a free soft boiled egg to put on top of the rice bowl. Value is decent considering the amount of meat, and it came with miso soup as well!
