Food was great and price was reasonable. I got the spicy beef and it was nice 💯. Service was kind of slow and there was a small wait, our water wasn't refilled that fast but I had a great time :).

The food was amazing and even on a waitlist we got a table fairly quickly. We definitely underestimated the level of spice for the spicy miso broth but it was amazing. We'll definitely be back but we'll just order the non-spicy broths

Wanted Ramen, but it was before 12 p.m., so Isshin wasn't open, so I came here and was a pleasant experience. Got the Panfried Pork Gyoza, Chicken Kaarage, and Shoyu Sliced Pork ramen. The Gyozas are nice, very green onion forward, but I still like them. The Kaarage is good. The Japanese mayo compliments them nicely. A spiced mayo would be perfect. The chicken is juicy, and you get big pieces of meat since the batter is thin. I would order it again. The Shoyu Sliced Pork is great. I like the broth. The bean sprouts were fresh, none were wilted, and they added a nice bite to the dish. I like the char on the pork. If both sides had a crisp to it, it would have been great. Overall I was satisfied and I will come back here again. 8/10.

My sister and I was deciding between pho or ramen after shopping at Vaughan Mills. Then, I remembered there was one nearby because my brother and I ate here last year so I decided to come here instead. The experience this time was unpleasant mainly due to the sizing portion of my order. My go-to at Ajisen is Tom Yum Steak Ramen. My sister and I was shocked to see that the portion of my order is not the normal serving size that I tried at other Ajisen restaurants (Steeles & Warden, North York (Yonge), and Scarborough). I feel full after eating the normal sizing at other Ajisen locations but after eating this, I still felt hungry and did not feel good. They are priced the same as other locations, which I understand to maintain quality and consistency, but they should have also similar sizing portions. My sister tried to ask the server but she could not hear my sister (sister is gentle soft-spoken), and the server said, "I can't hear you, you need to speak up." Her tone and choice of words are a bit impolite, she could have been nicer and said something along the lines of, "can/could you please speak up so I can hear you better?" The server seemed nice but could also be tired since it was busy, and I understand. Anyway, I asked the server myself and she said, "it is a bigger bowl, we have a scoop for that." The steak was also bland and not sizzling. I have eaten many times at other locations and it was always sizzling. The other staff are friendly and even apologized for the wait time. Also, my sister and I waited 30 mins for our food, and we also waited in line for 30 mins or so, but we did not mind waiting. If I was on the business side, if I knew my customers are waiting for some time, I would compensate for good service and reasonable portions.

We dined at this Ajisen branch when it first opened. The food took nearly an hour to arrive, but the owner or manager kindly took the appetizers off our bill as compensation. Despite this gesture, we were still disappointed by the long wait for just two steak ramens. Fast forward to a recent evening, after attending Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland, we were craving a good bowl of ramen. My partner and I decided to give this Ajisen location another chance. We’re huge fans of Ajisen and have always been loyal to the brand, but unfortunately, this branch has left us dissatisfied once again. Our two steak ramens took nearly half an hour to arrive, and there was barely any broth in the bowls. The bowls seemed larger, but the broth didn’t even reach the middle—perhaps an attempt at an illusion. We were cold that night, so we politely asked one of the servers if they could provide some extra broth since there was so little. The server seemed visibly annoyed and insisted on charging extra for it. All we received was the base soup. It was disappointing to be treated this way as loyal customers. Lastly, I went to the restroom after receiving the bill, and it confirmed my decision: I will never return to this Ajisen branch again.

It was my first time trying Ajisen Ramen and from other experiences at multiple ramen restaurants I believe it is safe to say that this is now my go-to ramen spot. First thing is they have a wide variety of different ramens to choose from. They have steak, filet, sliced pork, BBQ pork and vegan options. Compared to other ramen restaurants, its only limited to chicken or pork. They also have a lot of side dishes to choose from and I highly recommend the garlic broccolini and enoki beef rolls. It’s just something about the sauce that they use for it that makes it so tasteful. Second thing is the environment, it was very chill and overall a great place to grab a bite with some friends. They also serve alcohol which pairs really well with the hot ramen they serve. The place was relatively kept clean as it was a bit busy when we dined in and the bathrooms were clean. Lastly, the service was amazing, servers were welcoming and sat us right away. We were also given water within seconds of sitting down which was great. The girls were very helpful in explaining the menu and gave us awesome recommendations. In the picture below, I got the filet mignon ramen with spicy miso broth. It originally comes with the black garlic broth but I told her I wanted something a bit spicy so she recommended I changed the broth to spicy miso. It was the perfect recommendation. The only con is it did take a while for our ramens to come out. It was busy so our server told us the wait time may be a bit longer than usual but luckily we werent in a rush!

No wonder people say it’s not healthy to eat outside. A healthy brussel sprouts being deep fried and loaded with tons of salt, and it costs me $9. I ordered just out of curiosity, chefs these days have no idea eat healthy is the key to live a happy life 😢

I’m a regular at Ajisen’s. Their meat to noodle portions, broth, and price is probably the best compared to the other ramen shops in the GTA. However, the online delivery is not good at all like how it is in-person. The quality is lacking a lot if you order online and presentation is sloppy, too. In-person is better, but there could be improvements to service, too. Some waitresses are a little bit stingy, although there are some nice waitresses, too. It would be nice if we were offered tea + hot water, instead of cold water. The atmosphere of the place is pretty nice; it’s spacious; however, there needs to be more cleaning done on the seats, tables, and utensils. I really only recommend the black garlic beef filet mignon ramen to be honest, as it’s the best one on the menu, but it is pricier than the others. Also, the black garlic broth would be better if it wasn’t too salty, but other than that, Ajisen Ramen is a pretty good ramen place. Some improvements here and there would definitely make it better.
