Ajisen Ramen was founded in Kumamoto, Japan in 1968 and is the largest ramen brand in the world. Over the years, the unique taste of our ramen allowed for global expansion to 700+ locations in over 15 countries such as Canada, Japan, Singapore, USA, Italy, China, and more. Despite our growth, we have stayed true to our roots. We continue to follow the same recipes that the founder used since 1968 to make every bowl with our hearts. Our name AJISEN means "a thousand flavours" and perfectly embodies our carefully crafted bowls of ramen.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this family-friendly restaurant for years, but tonight was a huge disappointment. The music was shockingly loud and inappropriate—offensive rap with constant curse words, more suited for a bar than a restaurant. It seemed the servers chose the playlist based on their personal tastes, as I’ve never experienced this at any other location. The discomfort was clear on other customers’ faces, ruining what should have been a festive evening. I hope management addresses this issue to maintain the restaurant’s family-friendly atmosphere, as tonight left me reconsidering future visits.

The place is a bit drab, dark and outdated, but that's not what you nor I are at Ajisen Ramen for right? Their fresh and hot ramen noodles are always a great way to satisfy a hungry stomach. My absolute favourite dish is the Ajisen Ramen with Black Garlic. So delicious and savory, I almost always drink nearly all the broth lol 😋 The service is good and they were nice enough to offer some fresh spring rolls on the house when they were experiencing issues with their kitchen.

Took a while to get our order because there was only 1 person working but other than that no major complaints. Food came out quick and was delicious. Our water was filled without us asking so that was good. Lighting is kind of dim.

Came here for late dinner with friends after checking out a nearby escape room. All of us found our meals tasty! The service was fast, from being seated to receiving our meals. The portions were decent. We enjoyed our meals!

I was arriving in Markham for a business trip the night before a meeting. We parked at Ajisen Ramen at 11:45pm and ran inside and they were about to close. I apologized for coming in so late and the two ladies working were very nice and said they could only give us carry out and only take credit card since they had already counted all the cash. I was perfectly fine with that and ordered the pork original ramen. I got to the hotel at 12:15am and the ramen came in two containers, one with broth and the other with the noodles, pork and vegetables. They included chop sticks and a spoon with the order. The ramen was excellent and a great late night meal for me after a 5 hour drive from the USA. I will go back again the next time I’m in the area. I have no complaints about anything regarding this Ajisen Ramen and their staff were great!

The ramen was average, though I'd come back with company because it wasn't necessarily bad and the atmosphere is social and casual. The menu displays a variety of ramen and broth options, which is a feature some would enjoy over the simpler menus at some other ramen restaurants. The ramen: the broth was strong but wasn't as complex in flavour as I would've liked. The noodles were dissapointing as I found them to be too soft. They also only come in one standard shape and thickness. Overall, it was good but unfortunately didn't hit the spot, for me. In sum, not bad but not raving. It's an excellent place for a simple meal with an easy-going atmosphere.

Imagine my excitement when I rocked in after ten pm and they made me dinner !!! They close at midnight . I had the Ajisen Original and it was beautifully flavored and delightful . The staff were friendly and the price was good. So many exciting options on the menu . Yum .

My goto location for Ramen. Good service and food. Nothing fancy about this place but your Ramen cravings will be satisfied. Favorite things to order: -Gyoza -Spicy chicken or beef Ramen. My only criticism: Please attempt to serve your appetizers before you main. As most people like to eat their main dish last. I will definitely return and recommended this place to others.
