In Toronto for a short trip & my friend recommended this spot. The food , vibes, & atmosphere was good but my favorite thing was the service! I do recommend and will be back

Ordered hollow and fried rice. They are great. Chef D is really a great cook. I will patronize them anytime any day

I ordered the grill mackerel and the suya goat and beef. The mackerel was fried and topped with magic cube liquid instead of being braised. The soya meats were overboiled and not sufficiently grilled to give them a proper char. Just before paying, I realized they had overcharged me a bit, but I thought, it's an African restaurant, I'll let it slide and I even left a tip. In total, it cost me $67+tip 79 to my great surprise, given the poor quality of the meal. I called them to bring this to their attention, and when I asked about the prices, they said, "Oh, the prices on the website have been updated." I replied, "But why didn't you update the site? Because when I check the prices, you need to let me know that they have changed." Personally, I would never return to this restaurant, but everyone has their own experiences. After all, it's often said that Africans don't help each other. The quality-to-price ratio was disappointing. La seul raison pour la quelle j’ai tenté se restaurants je me suis dis comme c’est camerounais pour avoir fait beaucoup de pays africain personne atteint le niveau du poisson braisé à la camerounaise, expérience fait honte au continent 🚫

The best food ever. Fish was invested in my village so this was perfect for me.

This is the most affordable Nigerian meal I’ve had since getting to Canada. I got the small gizzard with a side of Jollof rice and extra plantain. It was a good meal and I was soo full. It is a good enough portion if you’re someone who doesn’t have a large appetite. The interior was pretty nice. My friend and I had a lovely night. There was a man at the bar area when we got in and then a lady from the kitchen who attended to us and they were both soo nice!

I ordered the Nigerian Jollof rice with fried fish, along with a quarter grilled chicken. The rice tasted very good and the fish was even better, with the 'skin' of the fish being crispy. However the portion size of the fish was a bit small. The quarter grilled chicken was "well done", meaning it wasn't super moist but it still wasn't hard to chew or eat. It tasted good but the fish was even better. Food was somewhat expensive but that's to be expected by traditional food that's cooked from scratch. Main concern would be the wait time for the food to be made. I would suggest to call in an order about 30-45 minutes before arriving to eat, or to bring some entertainment to keep oneself busy while waiting.

A hidden gem in the city. Good place to relax with friends with the cozy atmosphere and vibe of the venue. Has bar/ restaurant mix in the design giving the spot a unique feel. The food is amazing with a nice selection of African barbecue, potion size is a bit small in comparison to the price paid but nonetheless quite tasty. Location is far from downtown so you’d need a car and good luck finding parking as the plaza is quite busy.
