This restaurant is one of my favorites in town! The food is consistently delicious, and each dish is full of flavor. Whether I’m craving something comforting or trying something new, they never disappoint.

As a contractor who provides fire safety services for Afghan Grill, I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying their food, and it is nothing short of amazing! The flavors are rich, the ingredients are fresh, and every dish is crafted with care and authenticity. On top of the incredible food, the owners are genuinely wonderful people. They’re warm, welcoming, and truly dedicated to providing a top-notch dining experience. The friendly service and inviting atmosphere make Afghan Grill a place I always look forward to visiting.

Im honestly very disappointed in the food. I came from different part of Canada and this was my first meal, my food was cold, kabob was bland no flavour or anything to it. My husband’s food was warm but mine cold. Salad was also bland, maybe you can add some lemon juice with salt and pepper? Or dressing? And usually someone comes at restaurants and asks how the food is so far, nobody came and asked. Overall disappointed. In service and food. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Doesn’t even taste like a real afghan food

Took my father here for the first time. He wanted to try this place and they did not disappoint. The rice portion is huge and the kebob and salad served were also great. Garlic sauce and hot sauce were a perfect match with the naan bread. 👍🏽

Ordered the takeout to go here after following the good ratings this place has. This has to be the worst Afghan food I ever had. Ordered spicy chicken on rice and it was so oily. Literally every grain of rice was coated in a thick layer of oil. The flavor was more like achari chicken which again wasn't expected. Couldn't eat more than may be 3-4 spoons. Had to trash the pack. So disappointed.

Despite ordering two grill meals – the Sultani Grill and the Shami Kabob – my experience fell short of expectations, especially considering my previous encounters with Afghan cuisine elsewhere. First and foremost, the freshness of the salad was questionable. It lacked the vibrant flavors and crispness one would expect. Additionally, the white sauce, meant to complement the meal, was an odd concoction of sweet and sour notes that didn't quite hit the mark. Moving on to the main dishes, the rice was passable, but nothing exceptional. However, the bread was a letdown. Thick and dense, I split it apart in order to enjoy, detracting from the overall dining experience. The beef skewers were disappointingly dry, necessitating an excessive amount of sauce to salvage any semblance of flavor. While the filet mignon steak bites were marginally better, they still fell short of expectations. Despite being flavorful, they were marred by a slightly chewy texture. On a positive note, the online ordering process was efficient, and the food was prepared in a timely manner. However, swift service alone cannot compensate for the lackluster quality of the dishes. With subpar salads, lackluster sauces, and underwhelming grilled items, it missed the mark in delivering the authentic Afghan dining experience I had hoped for.

UPDATE: I called them today and they answered the phone, they promised that they will give me the same meal that had the mistake (Waziri and tandoori meal) for free next time that I go to the restaurant, they took my name and phone for confirmation. When I go there and they fulfill the promise I will update the review again. If I could I would put 0 stars, I just went to the place and made a take out order, which I was very clear I ordered 1 tandoori meal and one Waziri with tandoori meal and when the order was done they read it back to me which again was very clear 1 tandoori meal and 1 Waziri with tandoori meal but when I went home I opened the boxes and I found that they didn't put the tandoori skewer with the Waziri and to make things worst their phone number goes directly to the voicemail so there's no way to reach them so they charged me extra for that but didn't give me what I paid for. I called over 10 times but it keeps going to the voicemail. here's the picture to prove it. I will call them again tomorrow and if they fix the issue I will update the review. I will update anyway to let you all know what happened.

We had a family dinner at this restaurant. The staff were friendly even though we got there a bit late they still served for seven. We got the family platter for 6. Honestly the portion was not for 6 people. The kabobs were small (in the description says 8 skewers but what they served us looked more like 6 skewers). The chicken kabob and beef tikka was good but the shami kabob was dry and tasteless. The rice and the bread was ok. I was so excited to try this place but it kind of did not meet my expectations.
