Terrible experience with the food. Everything was so bland that we had to add salt to the dishes. The staff was really pleasant and helpful and the environment is good. But I wouldn't come back to waste another $100+ on something we can't enjoy. The food doesn't cater to brown/Pakistani taste buds. It's not even about spices. It lacked flavor. Felt as if it was cooked by a white person.

I visited the place first time, its was Great....! brother Hasnath hospitality was Excellent and appreciated. Will try to come again to taste other foods (100% Halal Foods)

Steak tasted like boiled water in a sea of onions. Mashed potatoes tasted stale. And drinks were syrups in slush. Probably the only fine thing were the fries. Overall not a good experience.

I had a very poor experience during my visit of 8 people with the server Ujwal. I ordered a fillet minjon steak with a medium sear, but incorrectly received a sirloin steak that was extra rare. They recooked the steak, but upon inspection it was still rare. I felt that my experience was very poor because I asked for my steak to be medium, but received it twice as rare. Our server Ujwal insisted the steak I was given was ‘medium’, but you can clearly see the picture below that it is extra rare. I was only able to eat a third of my meal. Additionally, the server did not remember the orders that belonged to each person.

Edit 1:Worst service! The waiters are extremely indifferent to the customers. I booked a seat in advance yet they gave us the least attractive place to sit. It took a long time for the waiters to come and take our order. They took order of those people first, who came later than us, before coming to our table. The quantity of beef in beef steak was very low. One can try their Pickering branch, maybe the service would be better there. Previous Review: A phenomenal choice for halal American- middle eastern contemporary Cuisine. Mango Jalepino Grilled Chicken and Shrimp is a must try. The mango curry used in this dish has authentic Flavour that will tingle your neurons. Steaks are scrumptious and surpass the expectations. The interiors have been meticulously designed using middle eastern art and do great justice to it.

Went to Affys in Scarborough for a Valentine's day dinner for some halal dining and steak. Have a lot of comments on this. I called and made reservations a couple of days ago. When I showed up at the restaurant, I was told they have a special Valentine's day menu and that IS all they are serving. I was not informed of this over the phone when I made the reso or even when I entered. Only when I sat down to order. Moreover the menu was quite limited and generously marked up. What would have cost me maybe $100 cost over $150. The food is decent but it's not worth the amount we were tricked into paying for. Tried the stuffed jalapeno pepper which was pretty good. Rib eye steak was decent. Overall the food isn't anything special and certainly not worth what it cost. Was pretty turned off by this experience and won't be back.

it might sound silly, but they don't have much choice for vegetarians/vegans. luckily I eat fish so I had a few choices, but if you eat no meat your only option will be a grilled veggie sandwich. other than that, the food and service was pretty good. our food did take a while to come to the table but we were a table of 10, so it was expected. towards the end of our meal we got the sense that the server wanted us to go. the restaurant was pretty much empty so we weren't taking up needed space.
