Wonderful experience all round. The service was incredible. The staff care about the food and seem so excited to share the information about each element. It was priced really well given the quality and diversity of the meal. Reservations recommended.

Excellent tasting menu, everything tastes really fresh, flavorful and well thought out. The menu changes often as they use locally sourced/grown ingredients and it depends on what they can get at the time. Apparently they even forage some ingredients themselves. Really loved the miso butter and fresh bread. The duck breast dish was perfectly cooked. Never tried quince fruit before but loved it. Overall great tasting and left us full and satisfied. Would love to come back to sit on their patio when it's warm enough next time.

A really great meal tonight for dinner. The 5 course Fall menu is worth a trip. The roast duck dish was perfect. The bread, pate and miso butter was a fun course. The cauliflower dish was unexpectedly good. I think the lobster base is what gave the vegetables flavoring. I'm not a fan of the dessert. It just wasn't my style. I wish it was something Fall fruit related.

Where do I even begin? The ambience felt so on brand, and its very clear right away what kind of experience you can expect. The menu is so thoughtfully put together, and each course is meticulate! Our allergies were taken account for, without compromising taste! Everything that you see and taste, are so deliberate - the flavors and textures were so lovely! Thank you for such a lovely evening through and through! I look forward to visiting throughout the different seasons! Definitely recommend for celebrations, special occasions, or simply to treat yourself!

Sat outside in the garden in the summertime and it felt so comfortable, like sitting in someone’s home garden. The food was fresh, high-quality, interesting and perfectly paired. You could see the chefs preparing the food and the smell of the charcoal grill would waft over every now and again, adding to the homely feel. Will come again in the winter to see how the menu changes!

What an exceptional experience! We were celebrating my birthday and came across Actinolite doing a search of different restaurants in this area of Toronto and how happy were we that we found them! The food was creative, different and excellent. Wine pairings were on point! The service was flawless and friendly and their back garden was magical - the smells of the wood fire, the lighting and ambiance was incredible. Roasted fennel marshmallows to cap off the meal? Wow! One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Thank you Actinolite for making my birthday dinner so memorable!

I opted for no pork and no beef option. They served the best mussels, Chanterelle mushrooms, and east coast lobster. Also, chicken was cooked to perfection 🤌 they know where they source the ingredients from, which is the best part of this experience, and most of the herbs are from their backyard garden. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves organic food. They also have good wine pairings. Do check it out. Overall it's the best experience for us!

My new favourite restaurant in Toronto! Can’t believe they have been around for 12 years and I have never been. The food is amazing and the presentation of the food is so beautiful. The menu is changing constantly depending on the season and what is most fresh that week. The service too is so great, they are so detailed when explaining each dish. On top of that, they are so accommodating to dietary restrictions. 100% would recommend this place and return myself!
