An excellent counter-style Japanese sushi spot. The chef we had was a master of his craft, passing us each hand roll fresh from his prep station and recommending soya sauce, other garnishes or nothing at all for particular dishes. Would highly recommend!

Fresh, flavorful sushi with stunning presentation and a wide-ranging menu. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. For sure, the best sushi place in Toronto and one of my favorite go-to spots for a quick bite!

Got the combo box. The sushi, rolls and handroll were pretty tasty and quality was pretty good. Prices were insane though for the portion sizes. Such is the cost of ambiance in a fancy foodhall I guess.

Good place to eat aburi style sushi and hand rolls. A little bit expensive but worth trying a couple rolls! Chef Robin and staff were nice :)

We recently tried the Waterworks Set at Aburi Sushi, and it was a satisfying experience. The set includes four pieces: Salmon Oshi Temaki, Spicy Tuna Temaki, Negitoro Temaki, and Chopped Scallop Temaki, along with a bowl of miso soup. Each piece was fresh and well-prepared, with the Salmon Oshi Temaki standing out as a highlight. The spicy tuna had just the right amount of kick without overpowering the flavor of the tuna itself. The Negitoro and Chopped Scallop Temaki were also excellent, offering a good variety of tastes and textures in the set. The miso soup was a nice complement to the meal, serving as a comforting start before diving into the temaki. The portion size was just right for a light lunch or a satisfying snack, leaving us content without being overly full. Overall, the Waterworks Set offers a great selection of flavors at a reasonable price. It's perfect for those who want to enjoy a variety of temaki without committing to a larger meal. We would definitely order it again.

I recently discovered that a new food hall has opened in Toronto, and I decided to visit it today. I really like its location in the heart of the King St West neighborhood within a beautiful heritage building. I recommend taking a stroll through the area and exploring what they have to offer. We decided to try the sushi at Aburi, and I must say, if you're looking for fresh, quality sushi at an affordable price, you should definitely check them out. We enjoyed everything we ordered and received great service in a wonderful atmosphere.

The hand rolls were not bad. I ordered the negihama, negitoro, chopped scallops, and California roll from their hand rolls selection and they were pretty good. I got the hotate and uni from their nigiri handroll selection and it just ok. It was confusing because they both say handrolls and the server said they are the thing but they're now. The nigiri one they fold it like a wrap whereas the other one is an actual Handroll. Overall it was good but not cheap if you want to get full. I wish they had a set combo like the rest of the handroll restaurants and used regular soya sauce instead of sweet soy.

Cute little stall serving up hand rolls. Aburi food never disappoints, love the design and the service is top notch. 👌 Chefs kiss! Love that it’s so much closer to home now. Because I would move mountains for Aburi Salmon hand roll. 🤤
