Just the wait time can be a killer. Food is good. Sometimes you wonder even a Naan and curries that is in the front takes such a long time. A couple of times I felt the front staff a bit arrogant. There is a feeling that they have more customers visiting them and hence they are not obligated to be a but sensitive to customer service and wait times

“I’m a regular customer at A1 Sweets, and every visit is a delight! Their food is consistently delicious and fresh. I’ve tried their veggie meal, samosa chaat, and sweets, all of which are amazing. The restaurant is clean, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. The staff at A1 Sweets truly stand out for their exceptional customer service. Navjot, who often takes my order, is especially impressive—she is friendly, communicative, and ensures every customer feels welcomed and valued. Overall, A1 Sweets excels in both food quality and service.

A1 Sweets A1 Sweets was a great discovery for us when we were craving a satisfying vegetarian lunch. From my experience, it's often hard to fully enjoy vegetarian dishes at non-vegetarian restaurants, so I’ve come to believe that the best vegetarian meals come from places that specialize in it—and A1 Sweets delivers on that! We enjoyed their Chole Bhature and thali, along with some sweets, and everything was delicious. They also offer custom deals, making it an economical option for those looking for a fresh and flavorful vegetarian experience. Highly recommend for a fulfilling and budget-friendly meal!

Tried A1 Sweets the other day and ordered Chana Bhatura, Kadhi Pakora, Paneer of the Day, some Rotis & Plain Naans. The inside of the restaurant was decent and had a few tables on the side. The Chana & Bhatura were both fine but all the other dishes were below average. The Paneer of the Day dish & Kadhi Pakora didn’t taste good at all. The paneer dish did not have enough flavour in it. The pakora in the kadhi was hard and just had besan in it and nothing else. The rotis were kind of okay but the naans were thick, rubbery and didn’t taste good. I asked for some pickled onions on the side but the container just had very few onion slices in it with carrots which looked bad. Certainly not one of the experiences I expected after hearing some good reviews about this restaurant.

Important Warning: Food Poisoning Incident. I want to warn everyone about my recent bad experience at this restaurant. The food was terrible, and I got sick with food poisoning after eating here. The chole channa masala tasted weird, and it gave me diarrhea. I suggest avoiding this place, and I hope the food safety authorities check it out. Also, the rasgulla dessert was hard and dry, like it had been in the no temperature controlled freezer for too long. It's best to stay away from this restaurant until they fix these problems.

After coming to Canada what I really miss is Indian street food as I'm from Amritsar, so I'm a foodie and I love street food and today I was craving for chana bhatura and samosa chat. So order it along with kachori and to be honest I loved it. But it was a little bit sweet and I love spicy so try to add spicy green chutney also. Overall it was good. Will order again in future 😀

Very clean and simple place for Indian snacks and food. We tried the kachori, bhajji, and puri subzi. The prices are quite reasonable and definitely value for money. The place was also well maintained and clean unlike many dingy Indian eateries. They also have a nice menu of Indian sweets.

So after alot of great reviews i visited the place today for some nice Indian veg food. Firstly the staff is really good and polite, the options as well as the price is very reasonable. The service was quick for us. We had ordered the much recommended Channa Bhatura and Tandoori aloo parantha. The channa bhatura was doable but the aloo parantha was the game winner for me. It was exactly the same way you get in in North India specifically Murthal (anyone from Delhi/ NCR can relate to it) We also took samosa and paneer pakoda. Samosa's were really good with some chai but would recommend paneer pakoda to be taken with some chutney else they will feel dry. Overall my taste buds were left satisfied and i will definaltly return for more!!
