Bowmanville is home to a thriving community of almost 40,000 residents and a history dating back to over 200 years. Our town holds its pride in its strong community bond. Music and theater have been part of our lives and neighbours gather to celebrate every holiday and festival. The annual Apple festival and crafts is a must see event that takes place on Saturday following Thanksgiving. Our annual three-day summer fest is also something that you will want to visit. Another unique event our community celebrates is the Blues Berry festival where we celebrate the Blues music and berries.

This is the second burger that's been way too overcooked to the point that is hard to cut into, and dry dry dry. Too bad to bc normally it's good. I emailed them last time but got no response!

Here’s an updated review: The food was okay overall. I tried the lobster mac and cheese — the lobster was cooked well, but the mac and cheese itself lacked seasoning. The fish on a bun was okay, with a decently sized piece of fish. The service was slow, but the staff were friendly. One nice perk is the abundance of screens everywhere, so you won’t miss any of the sports action while dining.

The service here is quick, ensuring you don’t miss a minute of the game while waiting for your food. Plus, the portions are generous, providing great value for your money. This place offers a reasonable dining experience with decent food and a pleasant sports bar atmosphere. My burgers and fries, which were ok though my burger was so greasy you could practically wring it out. The samosas were really bad, do yourself a favor and skip these. On the plus side, the menu is reasonably priced, offering a variety of options that should satisfy most diners. We managed to feed a group of seven without breaking the bank, which is always a win. The service wasn’t exactly amazing. I had to ask to get my drinks filled up, outside of that it was good. It not being very busy when we went there definitely was a blessing in disguise. The food came out of the kitchen really fast!

Great service and fun atmosphere, appetizers were plentiful and tasty. The fish on bun, the fish was 3x larger than the bun, so maybe ask for additional buns. The lobster mac was fantastic, had to chop up the lobster but that was perfect because I prefer cubes to strands.

We celebrated Father's Day dinner this past weekend at A Stones Throw Pub & Grill, and it was our first time dining at this place . From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel right at home. One thing that truly stood out was the serving sizes. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions, Not only were the portions ample, the food was delicious, The atmosphere at A Stones Throw Pub & Grill added to the overall experience. The lively ambiance, complemented by big screen TVs scattered throughout the venue, created an energetic and entertaining environment. We could enjoy our meal while catching glimpses of our favorite sports teams, adding an extra level of enjoyment to the evening. Overall, our visit to A Stones Throw Pub & Grill was a fantastic experience. We left with full stomachs, happy hearts, and plans to return in the future. If you're looking for a place to enjoy delicious food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere in around Bowmanville I highly recommend giving A Stones Throw Pub & Grill a try.

Went here with my girlfriends the other night for the first time. Found the staff to be friendly and the menu to be extensive. We were impressed with the serving sizes and the flavours were on point as well. We even liked the atmosphere as well. I would definitely go back if I’m in the area again.
