It's a good spot for brunch and games, even drinks. But there's a lot wrong with it. 1) Price: The cover charge is $10/pp or you buy that amount in food and dont pay it. BUT they still require you to buy an item per person if you don't want to play. For example, you can't buy a large pot of tea (that comes with multiple cups for sharing) and just have that. Their logic is that you should buy a teapot per person, which makes no sense. 2) Service: Service is pretty bad. They don't come to take your order, but if you get up to go to the counter, they will say you should sit down. At times we've sat for 30mins+ before they come. 3) Disorganized: Once they took our menus when we were still looking and ordering because they "dont have enough" and new customers had come in. 4) Menu: while its a great brunch spot, it's pretty bad for game nights. They basically have no shareable snacks, just fries. It's pretty bad trying to game and the only options are full plates of brunch food. When you're open late, do you expect people to order eggs benedict or pasta at 10pm? It seems like a no brainer to have simple apps or sides like mozzarella sticks or jalapeño poppers. Drinks are great, i just think it's trying to be two things at once and unfortunately being mediocre at both. Their crepes are also mediocre, sadly, despite being pretty. It didn't taste fresh at all. Also, DO NOT ORDER THE FRIES NACHOS. It's just fries with salsa and sour cream on the side, nothing at all like nachos lol. You can see it in my pics. I've seen this spot change businesses so many times in the past few years. A corner cafe is always busy which is a good thing, but maybe management could do better to improve on their weaker areas.

very nice atmosphere and attentive staff :-) the portion sizes (particularly the pasta) are a little small for the price, but the games are unlimited and the place is nice so it’s pretty worth it! the food is also quite good, with the exception of the popcorn chicken, which had too much batter and a very powdery texture.

We stopped by A Corner Cafe to get a cold matcha and taro milk tea. The drinks were good but they could have been more flavourful. We requested 50% sweetness, however, they tasted more like 25%. Our experience was enhanced by the atmosphere with a beautiful Christmas tree and a wide selection of board games. It’s a spot worth checking out when you're in the area for a relaxed, casual hangout.

I ordered a Smoked Salmon Eggs Benny and a Flat White. Egg Benny is my all time favourite. The combination is just right. Salad is favourable and home potato is soft and warm. The best! It’s my favourite dish here💛 They also provide varies of broad games. It’s great for hanging out with friends.

Corner Cafe is an easy default in the neighbourhood that always has space in the morning and early afternoon, and is open late. It is one of the few cafes in the area with bubble tea open before noon! It’s a great place to work in the mornings or play board games in the evenings since there is plenty of seating and servers only come by as needed. Food and drinks are good and arrive quickly, and the menu has a wide selection. Would definitely recommend!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, many free board games! Food is a little expensive, but you can stay as long as you like and play any amount of board games. It's p chill :)

First time here, although we have passed this place a lot. We had the classic breakfast: bacon, 2 eggs, potatoes (options include sausage or peameal bacon, way you want your eggs cooked, and salad instead of potatoes). To drink: a latte and Vietnamese latte (so good!). Beautifully served. Spacious and clean. Bathrooms are clean but require some TLC. I’d definitely go back.

I spent a leisurely afternoon here and ordered French toast and a Vietnamese Latte, both of which were delicious. The French toast was served with blackberry ice cream, along with strawberries, bananas, and blueberries—really nice! I even added an extra scoop of ice cream. The Vietnamese Latte was sweet and refreshing, served cold, and it was also very enjoyable. It's a great place for studying, highly recommended.
