A Corner Cafe

For some reason, was craving some chicken and waffle. Quite honestly, I've had way way way better chicken and waffle elsewhere.but I never tried @acornercafe So when my friend suggested going, I decided to give it a go. Honest opinion. it's very subpar. The coffee is also very average. The only thing I give it is convenience with its location. Whats your favorite chicken and waffle place? Hit me up and let me know.

The food is savory and well seasoned. I highly recommend the watermelon lechyee with aloe refresher because it's pretty refreshing and the aloe chunks are huge. Everything on this menu looks delicious and they offer free board games and toys. Their lattes are pretty good. I would definitely come back here again.

Went here with a friend for the first time and was very happy with their kind help attitude towards us. Not only was the place nice clean and cozy, the food I got (chicken&waffles) was just amazing. Their Vietnamese coffee that the waitress suggested for us to try was also delicious Can’t wait to go back there and try more items

There’s a wide variety on the brunch menu, including Benedict, omelettes, pasta, salad, waffles, pancakes etc. We really liked the eggs benedict (although they come on toast instead of English muffins). The salad had a light citrusy dressing and the drinks were great. The service wasn’t the greatest but they looked understaffed. When we were seated our table didn’t look properly cleaned either. There are board games available and many tables, so it’s a great place to hang out or study.

It's one of the unique eatery that I've visited recently. You can come here for brunch or simple coffe/bubble tea but the uniqueness ofnthe place is that you can play any board game from the selection of the games they have including playing cards & Uno. You can also read the available books or bring your own while you enjoy your drink. Food was nice and staff was friendly. Seemed little cramped but probably because nobody wants to leave that easy from here! We had brunch here and ordered 3 different options from the menu. Everything was delicious. Liked the place and the vibe ! PS. The washroom was pretty neat and clean too!

Food: 5/5. amazing! We ordered mixed fruit pancakes and chicken waffles, both tasted great. Drinks: 3/5. Matcha latte tasted a bit grainy. Service: 4/5. fast and nothing overboard. Atmosphere: 3/5. plenty of seating at 930am Saturday morning. The music is pop, which I hated, playing "this is how we do" at 930am is a bit much to enjoy a quiet morning.. Parking: plenty and free. Cost: 50$ tips and taxes. They made a mistake on our bill, make sure to double check.

Nice place. It’s quiet and wasn’t too busy when I had gone. The waffles from here are pretty good although there was a decent time gap between when I got my food vs when my friend got their food. They also have a wide selection of games to play while waiting for the food.

The restaurant had such high reviews, I decided to grab a quick brunch right after it opened on Monday morning this week. The staff was nice. I ordered food and that’s when things went downhill. The smoked salmon benedict had this strange aftertaste. I thought perhaps it’s the pacific salmon (vs Atlantic) and didn’t worry about it. Not even half way through eating it I found insect eggs and mold on my salad (see attached picture). I immediately told the staff and returned my meal. So gross and nasty. They comped the meal, charged me for my tea. I had stomach aches all day and well into the night. I will never be back.
