If you like spicy food and skewers …. found a lively spot right downtown Toronto around Yonge and Bloor to meet up with friends! 🌶️🌶️🌶️ A BBQ House have a great selection of Suntory low alcoholic drinks imported from Japan that goes down so smoothly with the spicy northern Chinese cuisine. Omg so good… my faves are Yakult and Peach!! You might want to try the Whisky Boy Cocktails plus they also offer tequila and whisky shooters in a cool Merry Go Round that spins around. 🍺🎡🍹🎡🥃 It’s a good time to visit @abbqhouse 664 Yonge St Toronto

This lively spot offers delicious northeastern Chinese dishes like perfectly grilled skewers, fresh seafood, and my favorite, the sweet and sour pork—flavorful and well-coated. The drink menu impresses with Suntory low-alcohol drinks from Japan, Whisky Boy Cocktails, and playful tequila and whisky shooters served on a spinning Merry Go Round. Unique cocktails like the Fawkboy and To the Youth are also worth trying. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, ideal for a fun night out. The service is outstanding—friendly and attentive, ensuring a fantastic dining experience. They truly excels in great food, drinks, and service!

As one steps foot into the restaurant, one is greeted with neon-colored signed boards and mesmerizing lights. The music choice and great customer service from the staff add to these amazing vibes. Their food is on the spicier side and has a numbing effect so be sure to prepare your taste buds. A must-order is their sweet and sour pork, Thai spicy & sour shrimp and stir-fried spicy squid leg. Their skewers especially the sausage and lamb were excellent ! Each dish is so unique that you'll get addicted to try them all!

Note: 15% off with cash and if you are a student! Everything we tried was delicious, and fairly priced for its quality and size - one of the best Northeastern Chinese restaurants I’ve tried to date. Buckets are provided for skewer sticks which is convenient. Service was good. Water was refilled constantly. Seating was decently spacious. Definitely worth a visit!

A solid restaurant. The food tasted authentic and the portion was reasonable for the price. We especially liked the lamb skewers and the egg plant dish. However, the cold noodle was way too sour (it made my gum sore). It would be nice if the customer can add their own vinegar. I would give this restaurant a 5 star if the noodle wasn’t too sour.

Great place for Chinese-style bbq & skewers! Decent prices, really quick service, and delicious food! The table space is nice, it’s not cramped like some places. The skewers were a good size as well and grilled very nicely. One of my favourite dishes was the cabbage (pictured below)! I think it’s good to come with more people so you can try and share more things. Definitely worth coming, and I’ll be bringing friends for sure!
