I am surprised how this place is so highly rated. We ordered two sandwiches, one veg w/ tofu and the other with chicken and lemongrass, and didn’t like them. The chicken sandwich was quite dry and there was no lemongrass flavour as well. The serving lady is very sweet but overall the food was not great.

Omg I tried so many, dont know where to start. First, me and my friends just wanna grab a quick banh mi. This shop stands out the most on google map since the review is sky high. When we came, the look of it is not giving much of a nice restaurant due to lack of decor and neat settings. Yet, once we got in, the Viet owner, who also runs the shop gave us a nice welcome. We're all Vietnamese so the native vibe quickly matched. As we finished the order, she was fast and keeping us company with her background stories. Banh trang tron is one of my fav, omggggg I've been craving for it. Highly suggest this home country snack to anyone adventurous with food. The other highlight is boba tea. Trust me, it's giving ✨️strong tea flavour & milky✨️, which is apparently hard to find since other shops serve too sweet and milky taste, not much of tea portion in it. AND, THE PRICE IS CRAZILY INEXPENSIVE. We tried 5, 6 different dishes and drinks. Only $11 for each of us, can't be any cheaper in this downtown spot. Definitely will come back.

Great food and amazing service! The Bahn mi was delicious and made fresh, and the smoothie was extremely refreshing! The staff were a delight to chat with! Left my bag in there and the staff immediately noticed and brought it behind the counter for me. Saved me a lot of hassle and was much appreciated!!

The lemongrass chicken sandwich was okay.. it felt too dry to me and the exact taste wasn't there of the lemongrass... The atmosphere wasn't too nice as well...

A little store with big flavour and nostalgic Vietnamese street foods! It may not look fancy but the food is packed with so much flavour. We tried the lemongrass tofu banh mi (sandwich), the banh trang tron (mixed rice paper) and banh cuon (steamed pork rolls). For a simple place, everything had a mix of complex flavours that was for a very fair price. The owner is extremely friendly and down to earth. She prides herself for no msg dishes as she herself prefers not to eat it. You can always call ahead to order if you're on the go!

88 Foods is my neighbourhood go to takeout. Super affordable, the portions are pretty big for the prices you pay. Dinner for two will run you about 20-25$. Daisy is a great and her service is on point! Def recommend the fried rice and the lemongrass chicken sandwich

Always happy to support local joints. Very nice lady that helped us. The Vietnamese coffee and coconut coffee were to die for. Also my kids approved the milk bubble tea. Love that she used high quality ingredients like condensed milk rather than sugar. Food was great dispute having it to go and not eating it right away. Will visit frequently whenever we’re in the area. Thank you!
