Food was okay - nothing special compared to all the sushi places you can find downtown. Service is spotty and a bit slow considering it wasn’t that busy when we went. Cant really recommend anything extraordinary about this place.

Fish was very fresh, which is the most important thing for a neighborhood sushi place. The decor is lovely inside and the service is quite good. It’s very good for the price. I think some dishes were lacking extra oomph, and the rice could’ve been prepared better. The karaage was very good, but didn’t taste Japanese (maybe Taiwanese?). Edit: Upon my second visit a few weeks later, the torched sushi was great but the tuna and salmon tasted a little bit too fishy for my taste. Still very good for the price but I can no longer claim “very fresh”.

Very excited about this new sushi place. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The lunch special is great value for a downtown spot and it was delicious, I was very full! I'm excited to visit again in the future.

Wow, five of us had dinner at this cozy new restaurant tonight! The sashimi was thick, fresh, and melted in your mouth—so tasty! The other dishes from the kitchen were great too. Everything was gone before I could take pictures! I’d definitely come back and recommend it!

Everything was so delicious!! We were so pleasantly surprised nothing was a miss. Every dish was made with high quality fish, made very well, and was so tasty! I’ve had so much sushi in my life and there’s only a few times where the place gets it so right and it really stands out. I definitely recommend visiting. We got the salmon lover set, torched salmon sushi, spicy scallop roll, and shrimp tempura. My friend and I loved everything but our favourites were the salmon lover set and torched salmon roll! Not to mention, our server accidentally dropped one shrimp tempura while placing the dishes on our table, and he was very sorry about it and brought out a fresh plate to replace it and let us have the two plates. He acted really sincere, and generous and kind to bring out a full fresh plate for us instead of making just 1 shrimp tempura to replace the one that fell. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere is nice, clean, and inviting as well.

Came on a Friday night and still had tables available, opened 2 months ago. Incredible sushi, among the best I've had in Toronto. The eel sauce is delicious and the portions are huge for the special rolls. Couldn't finish it all (a first for sushi!) Will definitely be coming back soon 😁

Fresh and delicious sushi with beautiful presentation. My fiancé and I have been here twice and we loved the salmon lover sushi combo, the sushi maki set sushi combo, the dragon set sushi combo, and the torched sushi & roll sushi combo. The sushi combo comes with miso soup and salad. Both the sushi combos and the lunch specials are good value for money. Attentive and fast service. Nice decor. Will definitely come back. Highly recommend checking out this new sushi restaurant!

This is my first time ordering from their restaurant, and the presentation alone is very appealing. The ingredients are fresh, and the 79th Black Dragon Roll I ordered, although just one, is rich in variety of ingredients and definitely worth the price. Also, the Miso Soup No. 1 is delicious and flavorful.😋The service is great, and there's even a discount for cash payment. I will definitely order from their restaurant again. 😁
