Atmosphere on the patio was the only thing we liked here. Service was awful, food was awful and undercooked, took over an hour to get our food and when it arrived the shrimp wasn’t cooked thru and our daughter’s salmon just never arrived. Server never came back to check in on us and we were ignored. Overall a really disappointing experience.

Booked anniversary dinner and had 20 month old grand daughter with us to celebrate. Service was below sub par compared to what others have posted ! We were on patio as we were married at the old mill over 20 years ago. Reservations were for 645 pm. We did not leave restaurant until 945 pm based on slow service, and then terrible service on desert menu. Had to ask several times for ice for drinks, overall not pleased at all. What was to be a great family celebration was turned into disappointment at restaurant and the construction at hotel which there was NO NOTICE. This is NOT the experience that has been advertised.

Great Patio This is a secret gem….love the gardens, the water feature and the Historic Old Mill. We celebrated our anniversary there last night and the Old Mill exceeded our plans. Delicious food, beautiful, spacious patio, Great service. Thanks Karen and the Old Mill team. Look forward to returning. 🦋Rosemarie and Stephen

The Old Mill is an iconic Toronto destination and restaurant experience. 21 West seems to be the brunch service that runs primarily on the patio and some of the dining room during the summer. We had a good time at 21 West; it wasn't exceptional or extraordinary, it simply met our expectations. The ambiance and atmosphere you get while eating on the patio of the Old Mill is spectacular - it feels like you're sort of back in time. The food needed a higher degree of elevation to match with the unique surroundings. We had avocado toast and waffles, neither of which we couldn't have made ourselves. Nevertheless, we'll be back at the Old Mill.
