서울포차 Seoul Pocha Korean Restaurant + Bar

I visited Seoul Pocha at the Thornhill location with a friend and tried a few items, but unfortunately, the experience was under expectations. We ordered the boneless fried chicken with a split flavor for an additional $2.49 (original and green onion), the spicy cream udon, and the spicy pork tofu kimchi. The fried chicken was crispy but disappointing in terms of flavor; the "split flavor" was just plain chicken with green onion on one side, no dressing or seasoning, so the extra charge didn’t feel justified. The spicy udon wasn’t very flavorful and came with thinly sliced hot dogs. The spicy pork tofu kimchi was another letdown, with thin, hotpot-style pork that had no texture, overly chopped kimchi, and tofu as the only substantial part of the dish. Overall, it wasn’t worth the hype. Don’t let the high reviews fool you—this spot offers free sides for a review and photo, which might explain the rating. They also advertised a 5% discount for paying cash, but when we tried, they said the register was "broken" — a bit confusing. We visited on a Friday night and were able to get a table for 2 although it was busy. The restaurant is a bar-style place, with many people coming in groups to enjoy food and drinks. They gave us a pancake on the house when we first sat down. We enjoyed the Korean spicy chicken and soy garlic chicken, the kimchee pancake, the black bean noodles and the rose spicy rice cakes. Everything was really good, but the rice cakes and spicy Korean fried chicken were our favourites.

Came here at happy hour, cozy atmosphere and very nice staff. Beer and Korean fried chicken is always a great combo. High recommend to come this place for a little treat after working :)

Food was great. Ordered Jajang noodles was tasty. Calamari and boneless chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy inside with spicy Korean sauce in the side. Tha ambience was nice and clean. Service was excellent, quick and efficient.

This was such a great find! Not highly recommended enough. Their rose tteokbokki was the best one I’ve had, it made me crave it the next day. Fried chicken hit the spot and can’t complain about the army stew. Had the pink dragon house soju cocktail and found it a bit pricey for what it is - $38 for 12oz and it wasn’t great. Can’t speak for the other drink items on the menu. Some of the food items were also on the higher end for casual eats, but quality and taste makes up for it. Would definitely come back, the vibes were great!

First time visiting this restaurant! There are a lot of options for Korean food in this area but this one is one of the best I've been to! Everything was super flavourful and fresh. Their Mango Makguli is a must order!! Bonus points for giving us a complimentary pancake! Definitely recommend visiting this if you're ever in the area for some delicious food, good vibes and cool drinks!

We went outside of happy hour so it was quiet and pleasant. The music is nice. The service is very good and attentive! We received a pancake on the house, which had a really good sauce. The food was good. We liked the jajang and korean spicy chicken combo. The chicken is very crispy, tender, and well seasoned.

Came with a group of friends and it was immediately a great choice! The ambience and vibe is unmatched. Server was also very nice and gave us a dish on the house. The food is flavourful and decently priced and portioned. Can't wait to come back soon
