This place has no idea about service. We chose a place near the window, because we wanted to enjoy the day light. Personally I always prefer places near window. But then a group of people came and they asked us to change the table, despite there were many free tables, including the other one near the window, which stayed vacant during the whole time we stayed there. It made me lose appetite, and I didn't finish the food. Attaching the photo of the vacant table.

Ate here few weeks ago. The food was nice, being able to pick ingredients was great, lamb skewers were especially excellent. We got free plum juice as well. I got spicy version, which was fine, I can tolerate spicy food. My friend thought she could handle spice but couldn't unfortunately. We asked the waitress/cashier if we could get more broth to tone down the spice level (and that we can pay extra if needed). She was so nice, very caring, and said she'll go ask. However, we saw that the owner yelled at the waitress for even bringing that up to her. Owner said that we need to buy a whole new bowl, because we were warned of the spice level. My friend had to buy a whole new bowl, with the minimum weight required to buy. While I can understand the owner's point of view and keeping a restaurant is costly and hard, but to yell at the waitress and give us glares the whole time we were there, that was unnecessary. I don't think I'll be coming here again unfortunately due to the owner's behaviour. It's quite sad because the food itself was pretty good.

I had a delicious and relatively satisfying dinner. I think the difference from other restaurants is that they serve sour plum tea instead of water. I quite liked it! I would recommend this restaurant for those who haven’t eaten Chinese-style skewers and the numb spicy soup base meat bowl 😃

First time at the chain. Didn't notice the cold bar to make soup selections. Overall, was a great experience. The staff was friendly and spoke English once they realized I wasn't fluent in Mandarin. Skewers were good. The beef tendon skewers were very chewy though. Ordered tomato soup base.

I really enjoyed my dining experience here. First time and will definitely return. From the food, to the friendly service and very clean environment. The reviews I've read were spot on and accurate. If you love Sichuan and spicy food, this is the place to go in Sauga. I'm a big fan of Sichuan spicy broth and you have the option of four different soup base and pick your own ingredients. We went with the traditional spicy numbing soup and going with mild spicy as recommended by the waitress as even with mild, it is spicier than average. I'm glad we went with their recommendation. Mild is perfect spicy level for me, but for most people who can barely take any heat, even mild might be too spicy. If you can't eat spicy food, then I would suggest choosing their other non-spicy soup base. And btw, the broth was flavourful and tasty! In terms of the ingredients to select from, they charge by weight with minimum 400g at $3.29 per 100g. Meat is extra cost. Our bowl came to over 1.2kg to share between two people, and we finished the entire bowl. The weigh was just right for us. We also ordered lamb skewers and spicy chicken wings. The lamb skewers were well seasoned and tender. They also serve complimentary plum juice instead of water. It is a bit too sweet for my taste, and possibly not for everyone. They do have a selection of drinks that you could order at a cost. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys spicy food.

Absolutely loved my experience at this Sichuan restaurant! The flavors were incredibly authentic and packed a spicy punch that left me craving more. The ambiance and service were top-notch too. I'll definitely be returning for more mouthwatering Sichuan cuisine!
