I ordered a fish one and they didn't put and I called them they don't accept their fault and the chicken this portion for 11$ it's disgusting even the hotpot as well and the sausage god knows what kind of meat is that

There’s limited seats and can get filled up around meal times. Cashier is polite but it’s mostly self-service otherwise. The fish balls taste very fishy like it’s been sitting out of the freezer for a long time. Tomato soup base was meh, but the fillet was tasty! It can be quite pricey for the quality of food you get. They also have a minimum amount of food you have to get, which is not very flexible compared to other malatang places.

Another addition to the Malatang restaurants in this immediate area. We were able to walk in to the restaurant and be immediately seated. The restaurant was very clean, including the ingredient bar. They don't keep the meats out in the ingredient bar, which I appreciate. The items at the bar are the veggies, noodles, and processed products. You can order meats at the weighing station. We got 150g of beef, fish, and chicken leg, which was enough for 2 on top of the 0.5kg worth of bar ingredients. We ordered the tomato broth, which wasn't too salty or oily. It had a nice tomato flavour. We also ordered rice for $2.99 but it also comes with a full pitcher of plum juice. The plum juice is watered down but actually quite refreshing despite that. We ordered the chicken cartilage. It was well spiced and had great texture. There were many delivery workers picking up orders and the restaurant never had an empty seat in the 2 hrs we were there. My only issues were 1. The beef balls felt like they had more filler than beef. 2. The plate at the table isn't very stable and can spin which could be difficult to place food on.

Ive been here countless time with my friends cus WE love their hot soup with medium spicy. This is my go to place. Everytime I go the food never disappoints!! since we always get a rice bowl which is come with free drink (refill).

Tried Perfect Meat Bowl for the first time with some friends and it was yummy! We got the tomato soup broth (non spicy) and it was good. I think what really makes this place special are all the other dishes you can order, like the fried skewers and platters. They came drenched in spices with delicious sauces that paired so well together! Would recommend!

OMG PLUM JUICE LIFE HACK!! Get the rice and plum juice combo!! And you get to choose the extra toppings. The meat is already set so you know ur getting a good portion!! PERFECT MEAT!

I enjoyed the tomato soup base as it went well with other food ingredients. They ask you to pick items you want to eat in a basket, then weigh the basket before putting in your choice of protein. After cooking everything was really flavourful and portion wise quite large. Many seating inside but I will call for a larger group.

Please ignore the negative reviews, these are just people with bad taste in food. The food here is OMEGA BUSSIN, literally everything I come to Toronto, this place is a must stop. The skewers, chicken, and fried mantou's are incredible, the service is excellent, the environment is super clean, and the food is prepared fast. On top of that, the price is extremely reasonable. Literally the perfect 10/10, just look at how many times I ate here (pictures attached). Let the amount of money I burn here speak for itself, it's actually just incredible. If you don't try it out, then you're missing out.
